The Royal Visit of HRH Duchess of Cambridge

Today RopeWalks was paid a visit by HRH The Duchess of Cambridge who has recently taken up patronage of Liverpool-based charity Action on addiction.

The organisation last year launched a dry bar on Parr Street called The Brink, which has since garnered world-wide press attention as it has broken the mould and striven to be a positive and benificial environment for it's mainly recovering addiction-related staff, and the public who enjoy the quality of product knowing part of their money paid will go into helping more recovering people.

The Duchess looked like she had a wonderful time at the Brink and we are very glad she is supporting such a great enterprise.
